Bands in the 70′s had some pretty cool album covers. I guess it makes sense when you consider the 70′s saw bands such as Kiss, Abba, Elton John and The Rolling Stones all release albums.
Design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign (the big 3 in the graphic design world) were decades away, as computers were still in their infancy. This forced bands to use creative photography and illustrations to tell their story instead of digital graphics.
